Best Gardens in Kent
Kent is known as the Garden of England for good reason.
We are blessed with some amazing gardens in Kent including Sissinghurst Castle Gardens and Scotney Castle which are all an easy drive from Tunbridge Wells.
Near Sevenoaks is Hever Castle Gardens, Penshurst Gardens and as you head into East Sussex you can find the delightful Merriments Gardens & Cafe which is now under new ownership.
Merriments is signposted from the A21 just before the village of Hurst Green. It’s just £8 to go round the gardens which has 20,000 tulip bulbs planted for a spectacular display this April and May.
Merriments Garden & Cafe are dog friendly too.
