Halloween Events in Tunbridge Wells 2024
Bring the whole family along to the Spa Valley Railway in Tunbridge Wells to laugh at Dr Frankenslime, the mad scientist on Wednesday 30th October, Thursday 31st October. Starting from Tunbridge Wells West at 15:15, 17:15 and 19:00, returning approximately 1hr 15 mins later. The performance is brought to you by the wonderful Radtastic Theatre.
We will start the gruesome fun at Tunbridge Wells West Station with an experiment or two with the wacky Dr Frankenslime. Then we will board the steam and heritage diesel hauled Trick or Treat Express to begin our journey to the haunted, Eridge station. Along the way, Dr Frankenslime will hand out activity packs and colouring pencils to all the little monsters onboard. Upon arrival at the station, everybody will make their way on to the platform where the mad doctor will show you how to make his famous, glow in the dark slime, each child will get to take the revolting concoction home with them!
We will board the Trick or Treat Express once again to travel back to Tunbridge Wells West, the Doctor asking each of you whether you want a trick or a treat along the way.
The times shown on your ticket are when you must arrive to enjoy the pre-show which is at Tunbridge Wells West station. The train will then depart Tunbridge Wells West at 15:35, 17:30 and 19:15 and return 1hr and 15 mins later. Please allow 2hrs for this experience.

Spa Valley Railway Model Brick Show
Spa Valley Model Bricks Show in Tunbridge Wells on 26 and 27 October 2024
Also taking place in October half term will be the The Spa Valley Model Brick Show!
New for 2024 the exhibition takes place inside the Engine Shed at Tunbridge Wells West as our trains operate up and down the line for you to enjoy the rest of the Spa Valley Railway
Come along to Tunbridge Wells and see some LEGO® models made by some of the UK’s Adult Fan’s of Lego! Featuring many different displays of varying sizes, including trains, planes and so much more, entry to the show is just the price of our standard travel tickets and with train services operating to our normal Green timetable pattern there are five return trips each day for you to explore the High Weald.
You can also take part a minifigure hunt, search all the exhibits to find all the letters, once you’ve found them all decipher the railway based word and be entered into a prize draw to win a family ticket to travel on the Spa Valley Railway on a Green timetable day during 2025.
