Wonders of the Weald

Spa Valley Railway

Visitors can enjoy a Steam train ride on one of Kent’s best loved heritage railways which operate trains between Tunbridge Wells West (adjacent to the main Sainsburys) and Eridge with stops at Groombridge and High Rocks Inn.

The railway has a destination at every station with walks and places to explore at each of the stations.

Groombridge also has a new children’s playground next to the station.

The railway’s website has details of all their running days including special events, beer festivals and dining trains including Murder Mystery trains, The Kent Cheese Train, Faulty Towers Dining Experience, Cream Teas, Afternoon Tea, Gin & Steam and Fish and Chip lunches and suppers.  See the website for details of how to book www.spavalleyrailway.co.uk

Trains run from the beautifully preserved 5 mile line between Tunbridge Wells West and Eridge.

Today, the railway retains much of its historic beauty and visitors enjoy the sights, sounds, smells and service of a bygone age.  There are four stations on the line between Tunbridge Wells West and Eridge.

The Railway offers a range of special discount tickets for groups, families and pensioners throughout the year.
