Halloween Fun in October Half term at the Spa Valley Steam Railway

Bring the whole family along to the Spa Valley Railway in Tunbridge Wells to laugh at Dr Frankenslime, the mad scientist on Wednesday 30 October and Thursday 31 October 2024.

The gruesome fun starts at Tunbridge Wells West station and there are three sessions available each day at 15:15, 17:15 and 19:00.  Trains will return approximately 1hr 15 mins later.

The performance is by the wonderful Radtastic Theatre whose wacky Dr Frankenslime will be performing an experiment or two at Tunbridge Wells West before everyone boards the Trick or Treat Express to begin the journey to the haunted Eridge Station.   Along the way, Dr Frankenslime will hand out activity packs and colouring pencils to all the little monsters onboard. On arrival at Eridge station, everybody will make their way on to the platform where the mad doctor will show you how to make his famous, glow in the dark slime.  All the children will get to take the revolting concoction home with them!

Board the Trick or Treat Express once again to travel back to Tunbridge Wells West and during the journey the Doctor will ask everyone if they would prefer a trick or a treat!  

Everyone must arrive at the times shown on their ticket to enjoy the pre-show at Tunbridge Wells West station.   Allow 2 hours for the whole experience which is aimed at younger children and not older teenagers.
