Dinosaurs Weekend!
The dinosaurs, which roamed the Earth over 66 million years ago, are back, and they’re coming to the Spa Valley Railway this year with the help of Dinosaur Experiences!
With the help of their rangers, you can get up close and interact with a selection of life-like dinosaurs from giant to tiny at Tunbridge Wells West on the train, as the dinosaurs mix with the steam and heritage diesel on board our 1960s carriages. A variety of dinosaurs, large and small, will appear throughout the day between 09:30 and 16:00 for 20 minutes at a time, and baby dinosaurs roam the train, too!
On Saturday, 27th September, and Sunday, 28th September, we’ll operate both steam and heritage diesel trains on our Green timetable through the High Weald. Did dinosaurs roam through the Weald all those billions of years ago?

Tickets are valid to travel on the trains all day and cost just:
- Adults – £16
- Senior (60+) – £15
- Child – £9
- Family (2A+2C) – £41

See Bluey!
Come along to the Spa Valley Railway to see Bluey at Tunbridge Wells West and take a steam train ride through the stunning High Weald during your visit! Dates to be announced soon!
Children’s favourite Bluey will be appearing at Tunbridge Wells West station at intervals throughout the day – don’t forget to bring your cameras! Take a steam train ride along the Spa Valley Railway and see Bluey during your visit when you arrive at the station.
Train tickets:

Timetable
Trains will depart Tunbridge Wells West at 10:00, 11:15, 12:45, 14:00 and 15:30. Bluey will make regular appearances throughout the day but you can book your tickets to see Bluey when you return to Tunbridge Wells West station.
