Join us for a weekend of railways, large and small, in 2025!
We’re hosting our popular Model Railway Show in September, featuring a gathering of model railways in a variety of scales, including N, OO, O, OO9, S, and other gauges. Come along to see layouts at Tunbridge Wells West, Groombridge & Eridge with trade stands, too! This event is fun for the whole family; with so much to do, it is a must-attend show in the area. Families can take part in our model railway hunt with a chance to win a prize!

Our engine shed at Tunbridge Wells West will be filled with layouts, with additional selections available at Groombridge, Eridge, and, for the first time, on board the trains too! The show is open from 10:00 to 17:00 on Saturday, 20th September, and Sunday, 21st September.

Entry tickets can be purchased on the day of the event or online. Prices are shown below. 

We expect at least 30 layouts and 10 trade stands to be in attendance at the 2025 show, accompanied by a busy train service using Bulleid Pacific 34053 ‘Sir Keith Park’ and Class 31/4 31430 ‘Sister Dora’.

A 25% discount will be applied for HRA pass holders and for those railways with which we have a reciprocal travel arrangement. This is only available at the ticket offices for train travel tickets. There is no discount for the Model Railway Exhibition only.

Train Timetable
A frequent one-train service will operate between Tunbridge Wells West and Eridge, stopping at Groombridge.

• Trains will depart Tunbridge Wells West at 10:00, 11:15, 12:30, 13:45, 15:00 & 16:15
  • On Saturday, 20th September, there will be extra trains at 17:30, 19:00 & 20:15
• Trains will depart Eridge at 10:35, 11:50, 13:05, 14:20, 15:35 & 16:50.
  • On Saturday, 20th September, there will be extra trains at 18:05, 19:35 & 20:50.

Evening Fish & Chip Supper & Real Ale Train

Real Ale – Wildcraft Brewery – Norwich

• Wild Bill Hiccup Best Bitter – 4.5%
  • Our award-winning best bitter, sitting at 4.5% ABV, has a beautiful amber-brown colour. Made with the best quality Norfolk-grown Maris Otter and a special, double-roasted crystal barley. Expect to taste the malt, combined with a bitter fruitiness.
• Wild Eye PA Session IPA – 3.8%
  • This is our favourite session IPA at only 3.8% ABV, perfect for pacing yourself on those longer days. Pale in colour, clean-tasting with a spicy citrus aroma.
• Wild Card Blackberry Stout – 4.5%
  • Packed full of foraged blackberries, this stout packs a fruity edge that is sure to excite. Dark malts combine with Bramling Cross hops and juicy, ripe blackberries, which are added to the conditioning tank to keep their true, raw flavour.
• Wild un-Bongo Mango NEIPA – 5.8%
  • Flavours of mango, hops and that tropical breeze will catch you off guard with our Mango NEIPA. A lovely 5.8% ABV, orange in colour with a haze to it. Centennial, Challenger, Azacca, Olicana, and Citra hops combined make this unique and packed with a punch.

Cider – Pulp and Celtic Marches – Herefordshire

• Celtic Marches Strawberry & Lime – 4.0%
  • This fruity number boasts a sweet, fresh-crushed strawberry nose and a subtle, zingy citrus finish reminiscent of lime. This 4% cider is a bursting blend of citrus and sweetness. The sweet and sour of the strawberries and lime have been carefully balanced and lightly mellowed by the traditional Herefordshire cider apples used to create it.
• Pulp Sloe Gin – 3.8%
  • Time to Sloe it down? This awesome autumn fruit is a favourite at Pulp HQ. Its plummy profile gives gin a bold flavour and boosts our crafty cider. Take a cool sip in the sun or warm this little treat up in winter for a mega mulled cider!
