Biddenden Vineyards hosts 13th annual Food and Drink Day

The all-day event, which is now in its 13th year, is in aid of Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance Trust, who provide helicopter emergency medical services and air ambulance services to sick and injured people across South East England. All stallholders’ fees and any money raised on the day will go to this great cause.

Biddenden’s food day showcases a range of great produce the county has to offer. Visitors will have the opportunity to meet, taste and buy from a wide variety of Kentish producers specialising in cheeses, preserves, sauces and chutneys, pies, fudges, beers and liqueurs, honey, ice cream, wool, crisps, meats and game and much more.With over 40 stalls to browse there is something for everyone.

Biddenden’s shop will be open as usual for tastings of all its award winning sparkling and still English wines, ciders and juices. Ploughman’s lunches and refreshments will also be available. Visitors are additionally invited to take the opportunity to follow the self-guided tours round the vines and take in the beautiful Kentish scenery.

Admission is free of charge.
