Finchcocks Finchcocks has an extensive educational programme. It is one of the few musical museums in the world where not only is there music whenever the house is open to visitors, but also people are allowed to play the instruments themselves. It welcomes school and student visits, holds courses, master classes and concerts both for and by young people, and is a place of pilgrimage for musicians and students from all over the world.
Bedgebury National Pinetum & Forest With a dedicated Education Manager and Officer supported by ancillary staff, Bedgebury offers a wide range of educational services tailored to your needs.
Primary Programmes - For primary schools, we offer a range of staff-led programmes to suit your specific learning objectives. Each programme consists of a logical sequence of hands-on fun activities that reinforce particular National Curriculum and QCA learning objectives while taking advantage of the natural rhythms of the Pinetum. Both KS1 and KS2 programmes are available.
Secondary Programmes - Our popular team-building programmes work well for secondary pupils as well as adults.
Independent Visits - Should you wish to carry out your own independent activities during your visit, the education team is available to help you plan your visit - such as advice on activities and risk assessments.
We also offer informal visits and events to which you can bring family and friends. Trail sheets are provided for 7+ years and a special sheet for the under 5's. Programmes are available throughout the year.
